Description
The Speeder foot pockets are the result of a technical approach of studying shape, structure and materials; they have been designed to exceed the performance of pre- vious generation fins and improve the comfort of the fit. 1 – Spars under the Footbed Our technology with underlying spars enables to improve the yield of effort, ensuring maximum efficiency with every movement. This innovation increases the hydrodyna- mics of the fin, allowing smoother movements in the water. The spars are completed by rigid co-molded clips that make the foot pocket integral with the blade, improving the energy transfer. 2 – Integrated Rigid Insole The Speeder foot pocket incorporates a polypropylene insole during molding that provides rigidity while maintaining a soft and light upper. Furthermore, it allows to impro- ve, together with the spar clips, the adhesion between the blade and the foot pocket, making the fin a single whole. This innovative solution has allowed the use of a soft and thin rubber that wraps around the foot while maintaining an excellent thrust on the blades. The choice of materials has made it possible to optimise the weight and strength of our freediving fins thanks to a foot pocket with a differentiated thickness and a shape specifically designed to be able to lighten the foot pocket without losing robustness. 4 – The Innovative Front Piece The design of the front has been particularly careful: to protect the toes, the front part of the upper has been closed so as not to compromise the comfort and efficiency of the foot pocket, a niche for the big toe has been created inside the spar that guarantees the perfect foot-knee alignment and therefore a stable finning. This new design concept offers maximum comfort and perfect fit.
